Marie Elizabeth McAshten was born to Tony and Alessandra McAshten as their youngest child to three boys they had before. Growing up within her family had been rather mundane; from helping her father work on various vehicles and motorcycles he would own over the years, to being teased by her brothers when they would walk her to school.After obtaining her Bachelors, Marie enlisted in the Army to serve as a field medic, finishing out with her doctorate and being given a honorable discharge after sustaining a wound to her shoulder from a mortar that went off.Since then, she moved where she now works at a local hospital, noticing the rise in vigilantes and heroes alike and their need to visit a hospital that would keep them safe - thus, the Clinic was born.
THE CLINIC
Her base of operations, known as the Clinic, consist of a large, underground basement below an abandoned apartment complex, one she's grown to own herself and renovate as to allow patients to stay in the many rooms if ever needed, whether it's to hide or rest from their wounds she's treated.The Clinic is known to be mutual grounds, meaning she won't allow patients to fight one another, as weapons are also confiscated upon entry to ensure further safety. If any patients start up brawls in her care, they are either removed from the clinic for that night or revoked entirely from obtaining further treatment in the future.
